Those weird eurobeat songs

 I remember to not like that much eurobeat but now

I'm Talia again and yep, why this topic? Because I listened a lot of songs I love and noticed a bit of weird stuff. Not subliminal, just... questionable things XD

I started to like eurobeat after listening a lot to it kinda forced by myself. I remember to listen to it and feel it old, music of its time, but when I started to associate the music to daily things or my ocs from Royale High, slowly it felt less and less old until I feel it as something new. I started to feel to want to dance to it, to sing it. My favourite eurobeat singer is Franz Tornado now, I like his frantic and excentric style of screaming "I LOVE COWBOYS!!!"

But back to the main topic, what I mean with weird stuff in eurobeat?

I mean stuff that today is considered cancellable XD but I still like those songs, it was the 90's/2000's and they were just random italians, I can't blame them.

The first song I thing is My Sweet Banana - Go-Go Girls.

I know, is the gyaru anthem for screaming "I'm horny" bad? The horniness is not the problem, the thing is, if you heard the full song, you'll notice a sample of a man screaming. The thing is, when I heard it for the first time, I burst in laugh because WHY THIS SAMPLE, it's a sample of probably a caribbean man, screaming something that, even me being spanish my first language, I can't get it completly, but maybe screaming for getting sales by some words I get. I feel it really evil and funny that this songs sings about going to the jungle to find this mighty banana, like, it feels racist XD still danceable song tho.

The second? Gipsy Queen of California - Bazooka Girl.

I don't think is that bad this one, back then gipsy wasn't considered a slur in the anglophone world (in spanish is still just a descriptive word). If you don't know, gipsy people call their own nation "Romani", and some of them feel that gipsy is a slur, so always choose to call them roma people! Back to the song, it's a calmer song than other eurobeat tracks, and I feel another color than other tracks (synesthesia baby). No more words, it was just the word in the tittle, but imagine to be listening it calmly in high volume with that cute tunning and the first word you hear is just GIPSY.

Third song and the one that inspired me for doing this list: Jammin' Spanish Men - Cindy

I FIND SO FUNNY THIS SONG, when I saw it in the eurobeat playlist I just clicked it and I was still surprised by the sexual lyrics, I mean, GRL I SWEAR YOU DON'T WANT TO BE HIT BY A MACHO, but it was way too funny to hear a song idealizing latin men, especially because it's nonspecific about if she sings about spaniard men or latin american men. Ok, maybe I still get it, our men are full casanovas by experience, I dedicate this song to my BF! (I'M ASEXUAL).

Yep, all those songs. I know there most be a lot more to be discovered.
